I swapped out the stock 100GB hard drive in my MacBook Pro with a fresh new Western Digital 320GB. Finally, I have some mobile storage space! This article was very helpful, providing the steps to disassembling the machine. There are a lot of little screws to keep track of. If my laptop were still under warranty, this would have voided it.
Using Time Machine, a feature of Mac OS X Leopard, it was really easy to move the data from the old hard drive to the new one. This post helped a lot with the data transfer.
